Um verkið
Ketilsson´s relief sculpture is titled Calm Sea and is made especially for Multis. The 10 x 15 cm. work is composed of two units cast in black stone clay and is to be hung on a wall. It is made in an edition of 5, signed by the artist. The symmetry of the mountain with its reflected form, the reflection becomes our inner landscape, a form that is beyond the tangible, between clear sky and the calm sea.
About the work
Fjall úr steinleir. Verkið er unnið sérstaklega fyrir Multis og ber titilinn Logn. Skúlptúrinn er 10 x 15 cm. að stærð, samsettur úr tveimur einingum sem steyptar eru í svartan steinleir og festar á vegg. Verkið er gert í fimm árituðum eintökum.
